Lea Ypi is an Albanian author born in Tirana. She is a Professor in Political Theory at the London School of Economics and an Adjunct Associate Professor in Philosophy at the Australian National University. She has degrees in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Rome La Sapienza and was a Post-doctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. from the European University Institute. Her works have been widely recognized and translated into many languages.
